privacy policy
last updated: 2026-07-06
this policy explains what gogrepthat (gogrepthat.com) collects, how it's used, and what control you have over it — including how your operator key is handled. gogrepthat is part of the manymoats family of products and this policy is designed with privacy in mind.
1. the house crew (no account needed)
the free house crew runs without an account, login, or key. we still collect basic usage & telemetry (queries run, crew used, feature interactions) to operate and improve the product, and standard technical data (like IP address and browser type) for security and abuse prevention. house-crew query text is processed to generate your report and is not sold.
2. your operator key — how it's handled
paid crews (balanced, gemini, max) and file processing run on an operator key you supply — your own API key with your own third-party provider. here's exactly what that means for your data:
- we pass your key's requests through to the provider you've configured. we are not the provider, and we do not see, use, or bill against your key for anything other than the request you personally initiate.
- your key is stored so the product can use it on your behalf; we treat it as sensitive credential data and do not sell it, share it, or use it for any purpose beyond running the requests you trigger.
- you can clear your operator key at any time, which removes it from our systems and reverts you to the $0 house crew. see our terms of service for the contractual side of this.
- when your key is used, your query content is sent to that third-party provider under their own privacy practices and terms — we encourage you to review theirs as well as ours.
3. what we collect (account holders)
- account information — your email address and login credentials, if you create an account.
- usage & telemetry — activity data such as queries run, crew tier used, and feature usage, so we can operate and improve the product.
- payment information — if gogrepthat ever bills you directly (as opposed to your operator-key provider billing you), that is handled entirely by Stripe. we never see or store your card number.
4. how we use it
we use collected data to run the service, generate the reports you request, provide support, improve features, and communicate important account notices. we do not sell your data.
5. cookies & local storage
gogrepthat uses cookies and browser local storage for functionality — remembering your operator-key configuration locally where possible, preferences, and basic session handling. where possible we favor an on-device-first approach for things that don't need to leave your browser.
6. sharing
we share data only with the service providers needed to run gogrepthat (hosting, and — only when you've configured a paid crew — the AI/data provider tied to your operator key, strictly for requests you initiate). we do not sell your personal information or your query content to third parties.
7. your rights
you can ask us to access, export, or delete your data — including clearing a stored operator key — at any time by emailing support@manymoats.com. we'll respond and handle the request directly.
8. data retention
we keep account and usage data for as long as your account is active, plus a reasonable period afterward to handle disputes or comply with legal obligations. an operator key is retained only until you clear it or close your account. you can request earlier deletion at any time.
9. children
gogrepthat is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
10. security
we use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including stored operator keys. no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.
11. changes to this policy
we may update this policy from time to time. material changes will be posted here with a new "last updated" date.
12. contact
